Jordan Smith

Second Year Instructor

Hey Swim Warrior families!

My name is Jordan Smith and I am currently a senior at Forsyth Central High School, where I will be graduating in May of 2022! I plan on attending the University of Georgia in the fall, where I will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Public Relations!

This will be my second year being an instructor with Swim Warriors, and I could not be more excited! Last year I had the pleasure of instructing children between the ages of 8 months to early teens. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the Red Cross.

Ever since I was little I have loved being in the water, and I am passionate about sharing that love with my swimmers! Some of my best memories as a kid were when I took swim lessons and learned to hold my breath and to look under the water. I have many great memories of spending the weekends at the lake with my family; having fun and enjoying swimming and boating.

Making a positive lasting impact on my swimmers is my goal and something that has fueled my passion for working with kids! I want them to remember lessons with "Miss Jordan". Swim and survival skills will be carried with them for the rest of their lives, and I am honored to be given the opportunity to teach them.

Teaching kids something new, and aiding them in successfully reaching their goals is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. I look forward to meeting you all and teaching your swimmers to reach their full potential.

"My best advice for swim parents is to spend as much time as you can in the water between lessons. Also to always encourage your kiddos to be excited about lessons! "

MY FAVORITE QUOTE

“Don’t ignore your own potential."

This is my favorite quote because it makes you think about how no matter the circumstances you may face, you always are more capable than you may know. Whether that be school, swimming, or any of your goals.
