Welcome to Swim Warriors!

My name is Brooke Landi Rapson. I am 30 years old, and I am the owner and operator of Swim Warriors Incorporated. I have been married for six years. I am the proud mom to two children; Hadassah Rose and Titus Andrew. We also have two Great Pyrenees (Watson and Holmes) and a Bernese Mountain Dog (Hazel). I am the oldest of eleven kids: four biological sisters, three step-brothers, and three adopted siblings. They have influenced my life significantly and have had a great impact on how I run this company.

It has been a blessing to watch our swim family grow over the past ten summers from 140 swimmers, and one employee (me) to currently over 3,000 per week during our busiest months, and over 50 staff members. We have been named the Best of Forsyth for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Now residing in Dawsonville we have won Best of Dawson for 2023, 2024, & 2025. What an honor!

I have twelve years of expertise in swim instruction and coaching. During this time I have instructed children between the ages of 6 months up to adults. I have been involved in year-round competitive swimming for 19 years. In the past, I was a head coach of Otwell Middle School's competitive swim team for four consecutive seasons. I have been trained through the Red Cross in lifeguarding, first aid, pediatric and adult CPR, and WSI. Fun fact--I am also open water scuba certified!

I specialize in survival swimming, stroke technique, adult swim lessons, parent-child classes, and working with swimmers that have special needs. I have experienced and have had great joy working with children that have autism, ADHD, children that are hearing impaired, visually impaired, Down Syndrome, CHARGE Syndrome, Mitochondrial Disease, Spina Bifida, and children with dwarfism. In addition I have had the honor of teaching one student with PURA Syndrome, and one student with Pitt-Hopkins. Both of which are extremely rare. It has been an honor to watch these students exceed in their desire to learn to swim. I have learned from my students, over and over, to never underestimate someone on what they can achieve. Here at Swim Warriors, we teach ALL students. In addition to my experience, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education Interdisciplinary Studies.

We have grown so exponentially over the past ten years! We have now been in our year round facility located in Dawsonville for almost three years now. Our facility holds lessons for over 800 year round swimmers per week. Our waitlist is always in the hundreds. I encourage you to read more about Our Program!

In addition to our indoor facility, and outdoor lessons we now run three outdoor summer league swim teams; The Polo Warriors, The White Columns Warriors, and The Brookfield Warriors.

We look forward to giving your family peace and confidence around the water by instilling a life-saving skill, specifically love and respect for the water, in your swimmer.

Blessings,

Brooke Rapson

"Miss Brooke was so great for our kids! We were new to the area and looking for a way to teach our children how to swim and were recommended Swim Warriors. So thankful for this company and their amazing work! Miss Brooke was compassionate but also no nonsense, which was exactly what my kids needed to get over their fears of the water. We look forward to next season with Miss Brooke and the Swim Warriors!!"

"God has instilled a deep love and adoration for children in me; I find deep joy, and fulfillment in spending time with kids. Competitive swimming is a sport that I have been passionate about from the time I was 4 years old. Combining the two is truly my dream and one of the things I feel called to do." -Brooke Rapson
