Bailey Hilliard

Second Year Instructor

Hey, swim families!

My name is Bailey Hilliard, and I just graduated from North Forsyth High School. This will be my second year as a swim instructor with Swim Warriors. I enjoy connecting with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe and happy in. I would love to be a part of watching your child grow into a confident swimmer.

Outside of school and sports, I love spending my free time with my friends and family at the pool or lake. For me, the best memories made are always in the water! I am beyond excited for the swim season to start and bring all the things I love into one! I plan on helping your child fall in love with the water and become the best little swimmer!

I plan to go to the University of Georgia and planning to major in business. I currently work in the after-school program at Coal Mountain Elementary School. I have experience with various ages of kids; I enjoy spending time and creating new relationships with them!

I was involved in the Beta Club and a member of the North Forsyth Varsity Competition Cheer Team. Along with that, I have gotten many academic awards such as the RISE award, the Principal's Award, chemistry student of the month, the ELA student of the month (twice), and the algebra 1 student of the month. I have an academic letter and have remained in the top 10 percent in my class all throughout high school with a GPA above 4.0. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the Red Cross.

Throughout my first session of teaching, I have taught ages ranging from one to nine years old. My main goal throughout these 30-minute lessons is not only to teach your child how to be safe in the water but also to love it. I love watching the progress of each and every one of my students and the excitement they get when they learn a new skill! Can’t wait to watch your kid grow into the best little swimmer!

I am so honored to be a part of this program and can’t wait to make memories while making you feel assured your family will remain safe around water.

"My advice for parents would be to always practice with your swimmer and be consistent with lessons. The more practice a student gets the more confident they become around water. "

MY FAVORITE QUOTE

“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” – Michael Jordan

This quote has impacted me greatly because I have realized throughout life not everything is going to come easy, but giving up is never the best solution. Running into an obstacle should not be the reason you give up, it should be the reason you work even harder. Swimming can be challenging at times, but with hard work and commitment success will come with it.
