Nadiya Landi

Fifth Year Instructor

Hello, Swim Family!

My name is Nadiya Landi, and I’m honored to serve as a Lead Instructor and Quality Control Supervisor here at Swim Warriors. I’ve been a swim instructor for five years, and my journey in aquatics began much earlier—through the Junior Instructor Program, which I participated in from age 12 to 16. Those early years of training and hands-on experience laid the foundation for what is now nearly a decade of involvement in swim instruction.

I come from a large, lively family of eight children, and I’m number four in the lineup! Growing up in such a dynamic environment taught me the value of patience, teamwork, and compassion—qualities I carry into every lesson and interaction with my swimmers.Swimming has always played a major role in my life. I’ve been a competitive swimmer since the age of four and became scuba certified at 16. Today, I have the privilege of coaching our swim team in addition to my instructional roles, continuing to share my passion for the water in new and exciting ways.

I specialize in teaching swimmers of all abilities and have worked with children who have autism, ADHD, Angelman Syndrome, Down Syndrome, visual impairments, cerebral palsy, and those who are nonverbal, wheelchair-bound, or have experienced trauma. I’m also experienced in using communication boards to support effective learning in the pool. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

I believe that water should be respected—not feared—and that every child, regardless of their ability, deserves the chance to learn how to swim, build confidence, and discover the joy that the water can bring.

I’m so excited to continue this journey and share my love for swimming with each of you!

"My best advice for parents is, I know that watching lessons can be tough sometimes. You want so badly to jump in the water and help! Remind yourself of the benefits of these lessons, and the reason why you began them in the first place; to keep them safe! A few tears shed is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes along with lessons."

“No matter what you want to do, confidence is key!” -Sadie Robertson

You will see the growing confidence in the water directly correlates to your child's overall confidence in life. Anything is possible with a little confidence.
