Nadiya Landi

Second Year Instructor

Hello, swim family!

My name is Nadiya Landi. I am a second-year instructor, a lead instructor, and Quality Control Supervisor!

I enjoy swimming, scuba diving, baking, and spending time with friends and family. I also love babysitting; I nanny for several families throughout the year. I started my own baking business, Nani's Treats. Cakes, cupcakes, hot chocolate bombs, you name it, I can bake it! Click the button below to follow my baking journey on Instagram.

Swimming has always been a huge part of my life. I have been a competitive swimmer from the time I was four years old. I am a Landi, so anything that had to do with water I was doing it, whether it be water skiing, slalom skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, snorkeling, or tubing. And I am now scuba dive certified.

I have watched my sister Brooke teach for many years now. Three years ago I started aiding in lessons as a Junior Instructor and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend any swimmer above the age of 12 to check out our Instructor Intern Program. You can save lives one day too! From the moment I started teaching I have been counting down the days until I can be a full-time instructor. That day is finally here!

Throughout the past summers, I have taught swimmers as young as six months old. I specialize in teaching swimmers of all abilities. I have worked with children with autism, ADHD, Angelman Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and severe trauma.

My family is made up of eleven kids, three of whom were foster-to-adopt. I am so thankful for the gift of adoption, it has greatly grown who I am as a person. Our three adopted kids have changed how I teach and have shaped me into a better instructor.

Brooke inspires me to teach kids a love for water and the safety that they need to excel! I have seen firsthand the impact swim lessons have on kids' lives and can't wait to be a part of that again!

See you all soon!

"My best advice for parents is, I know that watching lessons can be tough sometimes. You want so badly to jump in the water and help! Remind yourself of the benefits of these lessons, and the reason why you began them in the first place; to keep them safe! A few tears shed is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes along with lessons."

“No matter what you want to do, confidence is key!” -Sadie Robertson

You will see the growing confidence in the water directly correlates to your child's overall confidence in life. Anything is possible with a little confidence.
