Hello! My name is Lindsey Head,
I am currently in nursing school at the University of North Georgia. My ultimate goal is to become a pediatric nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), where I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

At UNG, I am actively involved in Greek Life as a proud member of Phi Mu, where I serve as the Philanthropy Chairwoman. In this role, I work to raise funds for our national philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with a direct impact on CHOA. This cause is especially close to my heart—at age 13, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and CHOA played a vital role in my treatment and care. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back to the organization that gave so much to me.

When I’m not at school or teaching swim lessons, I enjoy spending time with my amazing support system—my family, friends, and my boyfriend of five years, Eli. Their encouragement means the world to me, and I truly couldn’t imagine life without them.
​
I have been part of the Swim Warriors team for a little over a year, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Helping my swimmers gain confidence, build water safety skills, and succeed in and around the pool brings me so much joy. I’ve had the privilege of working with many incredible children, including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy. Watching each of them grow and thrive in the water is truly a blessing.I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

As a North Forsyth native and a 2023 graduate of North Forsyth High School, it means so much to me to give back to this community through Swim Warriors. I’m honored to be a part of each swimmer’s journey and excited to continue making a positive impact.
