Hello! My name is Kelsey Dempsey

I’m 29 years old and passionate about the outdoors, animals, and working with children.

​

In my free time, I enjoy riding my Sea-Doo, spending time with my two dogs, and participating in activities with my nieces and nephews. I have a deep love for animals—especially horses. I rode hunter jumper competitively from elementary school through high school and still enjoy riding recreationally when I can.

Athletics have always played a major role in my life. I was a competitive cheerleader from the age of seven through twenty, cheering for both Whitewater High School and Reinhardt University.

The 2025–2026 season marks my first full year as head coach of the West Hall Middle School competitive cheerleading team. My goal is to lead our team and program to a top-three finish at the state championship. I have a strong passion for coaching and love helping young athletes grow into the best versions of themselves—both on and off the mat.

I’m also honored to be a part of the Swim Warriors team. I developed a love for the water at a young age and now find great joy in helping others discover that same passion. I’ve had the opportunity to teach swim lessons to children with a range of abilities, including those with Down syndrome, nonverbal and verbal autism, ADHD/ADD, and clubfoot. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

Working with children of all abilities is deeply rewarding. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching a child gain confidence and independence in the water. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support current and future Swim Warriors as they learn to conquer the water and build skills that will stay with them for life.
