Emily Ashby

First Year Instructor

Hello! My name is Emily Ashby,

I’m excited to be in my first year as an instructor at Swim Warriors. I grew up swimming on the Lake Forest Lightning swim team, following in my dad’s footsteps, and I’m proud to now be part of the Warriors team. Swimming has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I’m thrilled to share that passion with our young swimmers.

I’m currently a sophomore at North Forsyth High School, where I’m an active member of the band program and the Honors Music Society, playing the clarinet. Music is just as important to me as swimming, and my goal is to study music education and one day become a band director. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

Teaching at Swim Warriors has been an incredible experience. I’ve truly enjoyed working with these amazing kids and learning from each of them along the way.

"My advice for all the parents is to always cheer on your kid. Even when they may be behind or seem to not be understanding the concept always motivate them and work with them outside of lessons to continue their development. Everyone struggles at the beginning and you are their biggest supporter"
