Hello! My name is Ella Durant,

I am currently a senior at North Forsyth High School. After graduation, I plan to attend college and pursue a career in occupational therapy—a field where I can combine my passion for helping others with my interest in healthcare and human development.

At school, I am actively involved in both cheerleading and lacrosse, and I also participate in all-star cheer. Outside of academics and athletics, I volunteer at Browns Bridge Church, where I lead a small group of first graders—a role that has allowed me to develop leadership skills and a heart for mentoring young children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the lake and making memories with my family and friends.

I am thrilled to be a part of your swimmer's journey! As a Swim Warriors instructor, my mission is to ensure each swimmer builds essential water safety and survival skills, while also developing a genuine love for swimming. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel confident in themselves, and parents can feel assured knowing their children are safe and secure in and around the water. Whether it's a swimmer's very first time in the pool or they're learning advanced strokes, it brings me so much joy to see their faces light up as they learn, grow, and thrive with each lesson. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

"My advice to parents would be to hype your swimmers up and always keep a positive attitude! Talk about swimming at home, practice skills in the bath tub, and celebrate every accomplishment— children feed off of y’all, hype them and swimming up!! Lessons are so vital to safety, and at the same time are so much fun"
