Chloe Serkoch
First Year Instructor

Hello! My name is Chloe, and I’m currently a senior at Forsyth Central High School.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked hard to stay active, involved, and committed to personal growth—both in school and in my community. As a student-athlete, I’ve had the privilege of being part of both the sideline and competitive cheer teams at my school. These experiences have helped shape who I am, teaching me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.

One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had is working with a special needs cheerleading team. Through this program, I’ve learned the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch each athlete grow in confidence and ability, and it’s reminded me how powerful encouragement and positive reinforcement can be. This experience sparked my passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
Outside of cheer, I stay involved through volunteer work, helping with school events, and spending time with friends and family. Balancing academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities has taught me essential life skills such as time management, responsibility, and dependability—all of which I believe will serve me well in future roles.

I’m especially excited about the opportunity to work with children at Swim Warriors. I understand that learning to swim can be a scary or overwhelming experience for some, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child I teach. My background in cheer and special needs instruction has equipped me with the patience and flexibility to connect with kids of all ages and abilities. I love cheering them on, celebrating their achievements, and helping them feel proud of what they’re capable of accomplishing. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a degree in nursing, with the goal of working in pediatrics. I know the journey will be challenging, but I’m eager to continue growing—as both a student and a mentor. I would describe myself as dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic, and I’m excited to bring these qualities to the Swim Warriors team. I’m passionate about helping every child feel seen, supported, and successful in their own unique journey.
"I also believe that parental support plays a crucial role in a child’s progress. My advice to parents is to celebrate every milestone—no matter how small—encourage effort over perfection, and always remind their child of their strengths. A little positivity goes a long way in building confidence and motivation"
