Beashcler

Hello! My name is Alexis Beaschler and I'm thrilled to say this is my 5th year at Swim Warriors!

Swimming has borne much fruit throughout my life. From a young age, my parents emphasized water safety for me and my twin sister. Before we could walk we were in the water and learning how to keep ourselves safe in water domains. Like a piece of clay, swimming has molded and changed with me as I obtain new experiences and knowledge. I truly feel at home in the water and I cannot wait for another year to share this joy.

I recently graduated from the University of Dayton with a Health Science Degree and Psychology minor. I'm honored to announce that I will be attending the University of St. Augustine in the fall to pursue my doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I have such a passion for working with children that has grown with my time at Swim Warriors. I have not only learned life-saving skills but how to be a more compassionate, patient, and empathetic individual. I enjoy learning and cannot wait to continue to grow in my skills. I was a competitive swimmer for over 12 years and swam at the state level. I have worked with individuals from various backgrounds and abilities including ages 6 months to adults. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Red Cross. I'm a firm believer that you can always learn more no matter how old you are :)

I'm honored you decided to trust your loving child with us. Swimming is one of the most important life skills your child can obtain. Swim lessons save lives. When a parent or a family tells me how a swim lesson with us saved a child's life, it motivates me to continue to be a more present and better instructor. I promise I will do everything in my power to ensure your child has a safe, fun, and amazing summer.

I can't wait for another great year! See you at the pool :)

"My best advice for swim parents is to show your child grace and patience. Swimming is one of the most important skills a young child can obtain, but the journey to becoming a strong swimmer is not always a cakewalk."

Miss Alexis was our girls' swim instructor and she was amazing!! Both of our girls (ages 4 and 1 year old) are very particular about people and very shy. They loved her and did so well. I cannot believe our 4 year old learned to swim in 1 summer! She went from being afraid to put her head under water to swimming like a mermaid and loving every second of it!! Alexis is super patient, caring, and just great with kids of all ages.

MY FAVORITE QUOTE

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

- Mother Teresa

I love this quote so much especially working for a company that accepts all individuals regardless of their background, or capabilities. If we just judge someone based on their appearance or abilities, we will never be able to love that person for who they truly are.
