Alana Stowers
First Year Instructor

Hey I'm Alana,
I am a driven and enthusiastic individual with a love for adventure, especially when it involves fishing and creating lasting memories with friends and family. Since February 2025, I have been a proud member of the Swim Warriors team, where I have had the rewarding opportunity to teach swim lessons to students with autism and those who primarily communicate using American Sign Language (ASL). Swim Warriors has been more than just a workplace—it has become a supportive community dedicated to fostering growth and success for both its students and staff.

Throughout my formative years, I was actively engaged in soccer, gymnastics, and cheerleading. These experiences instilled in me a strong foundation in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—qualities I have carried into both my academic and professional pursuits. In May 2025, I earned my master’s degree in cosmetology, driven by a passion for creativity and a commitment to making others feel confident, seen, and empowered. I am certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

My goal is to thrive in the cosmetology industry while positively impacting every individual I meet. Whether through beauty, education, or shared experiences, I am dedicated to uplifting others and building meaningful, lasting connections.
"One piece of advice I always give to parents is to speak uplifting and encouraging words to their children about swim lessons. In the beginning, it’s completely normal for swimming to feel new and even a little scary, but the way we speak to kids during this stage makes all the difference. When we replace fear with encouragement, that fear begins to turn into excitement and courage. Swimming is not only fun; it’s also a vital life skill that every child should learn. By keeping an uplifting, positive, and motivating environment around swim lessons, you’re giving your child the confidence they need to succeed and enjoy their time in the water"
