Zoe Hagewood
First Year Instructor
Hi!! My name is Zoe Grace Hagewood, and this is my first year as an instructor!

I am currently a rising senior at The University of Georgia. I am majoring in Human Development and Family Science, and after college, I want to work in Children's Hospitals and become a ChildLife Specialist.
My passion for working with children led me to work with the Swim Warriors team! I have always loved working with kids since I can remember. I became an aunt at the age of 11 and have two nephews and a niece. I have babysat kids and nannied since I was 11 and worked at a summer camp last year with children aged 7-18.
I enjoy connecting with kids and creating a happy and safe environment for them! My goal as an instructor is to help swimmers have fun while being comfortable and safe in the water and grow in their skills, and love the water.
I remember doing swim lessons and swim team as a child and loving every minute of it and loving my instructors and coaches, and I remember I knew I wanted to teach kids when I was older. I loved how my coach and swim instructor loved on me and took the time to teach me how to become a stronger swimmer, and this is what motivated me to become a swim instructor, I want to give back and do the same! I am also CRP/ AED/ First Aid certified in adults and pediatrics throughout the American Red Cross!
I am so excited for this season with Swim Warriors, and I can’t wait to meet your kids and watch them grow to become better and strong swimmers!
"My best advice for parents is, to have patience with your swimmer. The first few lessons can be stressful, but your child will get used to the water and with my help, will learn to love it. "
