Mallory Durant

First Year Instructor

Hey there, Swim Families!

My name is Miss Mallory, and I am a first-year instructor with Swim Warriors this year. I am a rising senior at North Forsyth High school and play varsity lacrosse. Lacrosse is my favorite sport, second is swimming, of course. I am involved in the honors society, the Beta and Student Council club, and I am also a class officer. This is probably one of my highest achievements academically! I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the Red Cross!

Aside from work and school, I enjoy running, reading, and hanging out with my friends. I spend a lot of time indoors because of my academics, so I make sure to get outside as much as possible. Weather permitting, I go to Lake Lanier as much as possible with my friends and family. I am so glad it has finally warmed up.

Before Swim Warriors, I was a lifeguard, so I definitely have a passion for safety around the water. Whether it be a pool, ocean, or lake. Knowing simple breathing techniques can help save a life! I’m excited about the chance to continue to help kids in the water stay safe! I’ve always enjoyed working with children and helping others learn.

I can’t wait to get started on teaching foundational skills for swimming and water safety. See you soon!

"My best advice to parents is to have faith in this program, its instructors, and their child! We are going to have tons of fun while also learning crucial safety and swimming skills."
