Isabella Landis

Second Year Instructor

My name is Isabella Landis, also known as "Miss Bella."

My passion in life is swimming and coaching. This will be my second year with Swim Warriors. I will also be coaching with the Lake Forest Lightning summer league team for this 2022 season. I currently live in Cumming, Georgia, and will be graduating this year from North Forsyth High School (NFHS). I have also qualified and competed in the state meet for all my four years in high school.

Some of my hobbies are swimming, cheering, volunteering, and traveling. I have one sister who is also at NFHS and she swims along with me for the Varsity Swim Team and coaches with me at Lake Forest.

I plan to keep my options open for college, with the dream of swimming for whichever one pursues me, in addition to obtaining a degree in biomedical engineering. I am currently in Beta Club, a Raider Commander, National Honors, and Technical Honors Society Member, Student Council Member, and FCA member. I have won the RISE award at North, the freshmen of the year coaches award, and the teamwork award in competition cheer. I won the coaches award in swimming as well.

Along with academic awards like chemistry student of the month and year, World History Student of the Year, and Academic Honors. I have been captain of the NFHS swim team for 2 years in a row and was captain of the competition and football sideline cheer team.

I have coached ages between two and thirteen, including a variety of swimmers that have a special needs. Creating intensive workouts, teaching breathing techniques, and coaching my students to master all strokes are just a few of my specialties. In addition, I am certified in both adult, and pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED through the Red Cross. Working with Swim Warriors has opened many doors for me, teaching swimmers under the age of four! I am looking forward to continuing to strengthen my teaching skills.

The best part of being a part of this team is knowing I will be teaching a one-to-one ratio, building a special and unique relationship with each child is so important to me.

It is my goal to make every swimmer’s experience fun, memorable and exciting.

MY FAVORITE QUOTE

“Hard work and determination equal success. Nothing comes easy. Put your mind to something.” -Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart said it best; when you put hard work and determination into any task you want to conquer you will be successful. Swimming is not an easy task, but after some time and dedication, I am positive that each swimmer will feel their hard work led them to be successful.
