Sixth Year Lead Instructor

Hi! I am Cassie Kobetich!

During my time as a swimmer, I was a part of the varsity swim team at WFHS, as well as many neighborhoods swim teams. In my free time, I love hanging out with close friends, my boyfriend, and family, reading, volunteering, and traveling when I can! Brooke and I met in 2005 while living a few doors down from one another. I have had the pleasure of knowing her family over the years, as well as swimming with her competitively.

I am currently twenty-five years old and have obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia College and State University. Currently, I am in school getting a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Addiction. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the Red Cross!

Swimming has been a huge part of my life for so long, and I feel so blessed that I have the opportunity to continue incorporating the pool, my love of children, and swimming all in one. I have successfully taught over 500 swimmers in my time as an instructor. The water has a special place in my heart, and I find peace in its presence. This is more than just a job for me, it’s a passion.

Becoming an instructor for Swim Warriors has opened so many doors for me. This will be my 6th summer teaching! I have experience working with babies as young as 6 months to adults- all with different abilities. My favorite part of lessons is when a swimmer completes their first roll over! It is a sigh of relief for both myself and the parents knowing that their child will stay safe in the water! My best advice is to trust our program. I have taught hundreds of swimmers and haven’t failed yet, it truly works!

I cannot wait to meet you and your kiddos this summer I am so excited to get started again, and I look forward to meeting your family!

"My best advice for swim parents is coming soon"
