Hilliard
Fourth Year Instructor
My name is Bailey Hilliard, and I go to the University of Georgia. This will be my fourth year as a swim instructor with Swim Warriors. I enjoy connecting with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe and happy. I would love to be a part of watching your child grow into a confident swimmer.
Outside of school and sports, I love spending my free time with my friends and family at the pool or lake. For me, the best memories made are always in the water! I plan on helping your child fall in love with the water and become the best little swimmer!

I am a rising junior at the University of Georgia and I am majoring in marketing. I currently work in the after-school program at Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary School in Athens GA. I have experience with various ages of kids; I enjoy spending time and creating new relationships with them!
I am involved in various clubs at UGA such as the American Marketing Association, Kappa Delta, and Alpha Lambda Delta, the honors fraternity/sorority. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid in adult and pediatrics through the American Heart Association.

Throughout my first session of teaching, I have taught ages ranging from one to nine years old. My main goal throughout these lessons is not only to teach your child how to be safe in the water but also to love being in the water. I love watching the progress of every one of my students and the excitement they get when they learn a new skill! I can’t wait to watch your kid grow into the best little swimmer!
I am so honored to be a part of this program and can’t wait to make memories while making you feel assured your family will remain safe around water.
"My advice for parents would be to always practice with your swimmer and be consistent with lessons. The more practice a student gets the more confident they become around water. "

MY FAVORITE QUOTE
“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” – Michael Jordan

This quote has impacted me greatly because I have realized throughout life not everything is going to come easy, but giving up is never the best solution. Running into an obstacle should not be the reason you give up, it should be the reason you work even harder. Swimming can be challenging at times, but with hard work and commitment success will come with it.
