Kitchens
First Year Instructor
Hello, fellow Swim Warriors!
My name is Madison Kitchens, and while I am a first-year instructor, I'm so excited to share my passion for teaching and helping others; whether that be through swim lessons, or offering sunscreen ;). I spend my time studying, lifting weights, and nature. Exploring the outdoor with my Shih Tzu, Chiyo is one of my favorite past-times!
I am a senior at the University of North Georgia. I am majoring in Kinesiology within the field of health and fitness, and minoring in psychology. I know a lot about the brain of a child and how it grows and functions, so I cannot wait to help them develop life-saving swim skills! In the future, I intend to become an Occupational Therapist and would like to work in Pediatrics.
While I am well versed in the minds of children, I am also CPR and AED certified in both adults and children. I intend to do nothing but help your child expand and flourish throughout this program. I am SO pumped, and I hope you are too!
My best advice to swim parents is
"I know that this journey can be very scary for you! I am proud that you are supporting your child's growth throughout this program, and I want you to know that I am supporting your child as well! There is nothing more rewarding than teaching a child and watching them grow."
