I started with Swim Warriors in the Junior Instructor program for two years, where I was honored to be a part of saving kids' lives- it truly is the most rewarding job. I knew I just had to work here. This will be my fourth year as a full-time instructor.
Serin
Prathomsuriyakul

In the past, I have worked as a YMCA camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim coach. This gives me quite a bit of experience in giving direction to other people. I regularly volunteer at a daycare in my free time when I am in Mississippi. I’ve taught children aged 3 months to 10 years old.
GEMMA CAMACHO

While I loved water when I was younger, it was not always that way. I remember when my dad taught me to swim and I was absolutely terrified! After lots of encouragement, I finally started to love it. I swam so much that my dad started calling me his little fish.
ALEXIS
BEASCHLER
Third Year Lead Instructor
Growing up, a running joke in my family was that the pool was my real home. From swimming competitively for 12 years to being a varsity swimmer on my high school swim team, then my college’s club team, then working there as a lifeguard, the joke is still running.
MARY MATTHEWS
Third Year Instructor
Swimming has opened many opportunities up for me such as being on my high school's state team, competing five times, and meeting some of my best friends. I swam for the Forsyth Central High School swim team for four years and it was my favorite part of the school year.
GILLIAN LLOYD
Third Year Instructor
While teaching my swim kids I have experienced how nervous, scared, or fearful many are of the water, but I truly understand how they feel as at first, I was too scared and fearful at a young age. I have become an expert in helping them overcome their hesitation with fun!
Morgan Stewart
Third Year Instructor
Over the years, this job has shown me the importance of teaching children water safety and obtaining the ability to swim. Beginning children at early ages of swimming is a skill they will take on with them throughout their whole life.
TAYLOR ROBINSON

During my family trips to Florida, I never left the pool! Swimming underwater, like a mermaid, was my favorite thing to do for hours upon hours. I also took swim lessons from a really young age and always had so much fun with it.

I have babysat for 8+ years so I love children which is why I am currently in Nursing school at GSCU to become a NICU nurse. I was interested in Swim Warriors and wanted to be a part of the team first and foremost because I believe in their mission to establish children’s confidence in the water at an early age.
